The works ‘Imprint of His Native Landscape’ and ‘And She is A Mummer and Queen’ addresses the modernist style that characterised Israeli architecture in the 50’s and 60’s. By regarding public architecture as the site in which collective consciousness is moulded and shaped, it explores the construction of a certain kind of belonging. The works negotiates the links and gaps between habitation and national Identities; between monumentality and ideology; and between collective memory and the individual body.
